Job Summary:
We are seeking a Developmental Disabilities Job Coach to provide guidance and support to clients, who have developmental disabilities, seeking employment and assist them in achieving their career goals. The Job Coach will work closely with clients to assess their skills, interests, and abilities, and develop customized plans to help them succeed in the job market. This role requires excellent communication and coaching skills, as well as the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to clients, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
- Assist clients in developing job search skills, such as networking, online job applications, and utilizing job boards.
- Collaborate with employers to identify job opportunities and facilitate job placement for clients.
- Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the job search process.
- Provide advocacy and support for clients with disabilities or other barriers to employment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of client interactions and progress.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass all required background checks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Over 21 and able to be approved by our vehicle insurance company.-
- Experience working with individuals seeking employment, preferably in a coaching or counseling capacity.
- Ability to effectively assess clients' skills, interests, and abilities and develop individualized plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and employers.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to provide constructive feedback and support.
